What yugioh deck is best to counter meta?

What is the best yugioh deck to counter the decks that are played allot these days? I'm focussing on countering monarchs and gadgets. What deck should I make?

I was thinking about skill drain deck? Whith goblin atk force, fusilier, chainsaw insect, etc. What do you think?

skil drain is hard to use when trying to do reverse skildrain(meaning you rely on the skilldrain to be on the feild) i tried and its hard even running 3 shadow imprisoning mirrors and 3 light imprisoning mirrors.

i know you think its a good idea but skil drain comes no where near top decks. try a counterr deck consiting of negating summons and special summoning monsters e.g. van dalgon the dragon lord, just lots of counters, 7 tools of bandit, magic jammer, solemn judgement, forced back etc. it could work well

I'd say go with a Gigaplant deck.  Not too many people will see it coming and it's a really good deck.  It's a very under-rated Metagame deck.  I've already beaten Gladiators with my Gigaplant deck and came really close to beating the others.

make an alien deck becuase they are all about stealing your opponents monsters.

idk... go with a beatdown deck. They're really fast and could do a lot of damage! my friend has a deck filled with 1900Atk monsters... he wins a lot at my school and was only beaten once or twice in the whole year!
