  1. nice i liked it.

i have a poem for you now:

Lord i've never moved a mountain

               and iguess i never will;

all the faith i could muster

wouldnt move a small ant hill.

Yet i tell you, Lord, im grateful

for the privilege of knowing thee,

and for all the mountain moving

down though my life You'vedone for me

when i needed grace to left me

for the depths of great despire,

and when burdens pain and sorrow

have been more than i can bear,

you have always been my helper

                      to restore lifes troubled sea,

                 and to move thoes mountains

that have looked so big to me.

many times when i've had problems

and bills i've had to pay,

                       and the worries and heartaches

                just keep mounting every day,

Lord i've never moved a mountain,

for my faith is far to small,

yet i thank you Lord of Heaven

you have always heard my call.

and as long as there are mountains

in my life i'll have no fear.

                           For the mountain moving Jesus

                     he shall make them disappear!

  2. ha ha that's great made me smile and laugh

great choice of words and dialect!

  3. i actually got this published in horse deals magazine when i was 15....i was so happy

    Filly From h**l

The time had come to break my first horse

    Unbroken, outspoken, evil, uncaring

Arab X Stock Horse, pretty, untamed

A filly that didn't care for any Parelli game

    Bottle reared and spoilt

    taught nothing of manners

    food was everything to her

    it called her waving banners

the time had come to lunge her

which was easier said then done

the circle became a weird shape

    and her a smokin gun

    ears pinned back, legs flailing

i was out of there straight under the railing

huffing and puffing glad i'm alive

she turned to me, with evil in her eyes

for months i tried to be her best friend

for months i dived under that fence, i stood

my ground, i didn't give in, i was going to break her

    CRUSH HER LIKE A TIN!

I tried to get help from wherever i could

people from all places said they new that they should

but fear overtook them when they heard all the facts

i begged and i pleaded, then finally one caved

finally i thought, finally i'm saved

bruised and battered i met him at the gate

he looked me up and down and said "am i too late?"

I led him to where she stood, attacking all who intruded

nick said "i'll fix her"..."you will???" i concluded

one month later all was as good as could be

except for the occasional escape up the tree

we found her a home where she can now rule

and i feel quite safe now, although a slight fool

  4. Good one Kevin...think Catamount should be saltered?  Bout the only thing you can do with tough old meat....
