  1. Temporary papers received prior to permanent papers.....?  Not really sure....good question.

  2. iv never heard of the term used before...

  3. READ ME

    It means nothing...

Those ads touting RARE "PINK PAPERS"...Folks please, this is just another registration form!! It doesn't mean anything except the dog is registered in Europe and breed surveyed, join SV have your dog breed surveyed, and your dogs can too be "rare" and pink papered. This type of advertising sickens me, those dogs aren't necessarily any better bred or cared for than one that has any other registeration. Please, if you're new at the dog game don't be fooled.

EDITED _ sorry I realize I said "dog" and see that this questions is asking about horses - same story though.

Hey guy - please read this and quit editing your details because it doesn't matter if it's a horse, dog, cat or anything else - this mystical pink paper all means the same thing - absolutely nothing.

  4. The term "pink papers" refers to the highest level of registration available with the Trakehner Verband.  If a horse has pink papers (literally, the registration certificate is printed on pink paper) it was born to parents that meet all pedigree requirements and have both been inspected, graded and approved as breeding stock by the registry. The resulting foal is eligible for full registration and branding.

Foals born with one parent that does not meet Trakehner pedigree or inspection qualifications are eligible for lesser registration options, such as a Certificate of Pedigree.

  5. I think some warmblood registries use pink papers for certain 'premium' graded horses. Not entirely sure, though.

  6. a pink slip is slang for 'you've been fired'.  I guess you used to get a pink slip in your paycheck if you were fired back in the day.

  7. How and where did you hear of the term?

    *thinking to self*

Maybe the 14 year old who is always looking how to make money on the internet came up with it!!

  8. I google searched it, and I saw a lot of warmbloods. I really don't know though.

    This is a great question.
