Pathetic is to funny as:

  1. Vein is to blood (wire and vein are both carriers, electricity and blood flow through the carriers)

    The closest on the second one seems to be "passive is to domineering", but it's not a good analogy to "pathetic is to funny".

    (electricity goes through wire, blood goes through vein)

    and the second one doesnt really make sense, the closest would be passive is to domineering
