Whatever became of those two boys who killed the toddler in the 1990s in Britain?

Have they been released? That was such a horrific crime.

When they were released from hospital aged about 18 they were given new identities and relocated outside the UK.

We the tax payers, paid out a huge amount to "protect" two murders, no matter what age they were, to have a new life, new identity, new house, new job total new start.

Just how many people that have had terrible things happen to them, would have given anything to have been given one of those things.

They did their crime, and they should pay for it.

Is the same thing going to happen to the killers of Rhys Jones ?

Thompsom and Venables? They killed the poor kid Jamie Bulger and both apparently 'have the right' to anonymity. One was supposed to have been looking at going to live in OZ (with his entire family at taxpayer's expense), and the other was supposed to be wanting to join HM forces (army I believe - though there was opposition from army chiefs). The pair have been buried so deep in human rights that I doubt if people with ever know if they even live next door to them. However, one of them (I believe) may have lived not far from me around 4 - 5 years ago for about a 12 month period in Lincolnshire. Once people started to 'talk' about it, he disappeared off the face of the Earth mysteriously! SO i can't really prove this. But I saw the bloke, and he did look like Venables - a grown up 23 + year old. And he did not have a scouse accent either. So, I dunno.

One was relocated to Australia and was suggested to be linked to a later murder there. All speculation, though.
