She recorded one of the most ridiculous albums ever: an attempt at a Bollywood soundtrack, sans movie. Lots of spoken word c**p, forgettable tunes, dull playing. Phair is one of my favorites of the last decade or so, but I have to say "Funstyle" is one of the worst albums I've ever heard. Her defensiveness about it was pretty off putting, too.
