Whatever happened to Puff, the magic dragon?

I heard he's been blown to the wind. Could this be true?

  2. Oh, didn't you hear that the mighty dragon slayer put Puff into peaceful slumber?  It was an unfortunate accident but never mind, Eragon's dragon has taken Puff's place.

With substantial royalties he received from the movies (e.g., "Enter the Dragon", "Crouching Tiger ...") he retired comfortably in a quiet remote borough in Scottsbluff.  All was going well until mischievous tendencies suppressed in his early dragonhood began to resurface, and he took a ride a bit on the wild side.  He stole chickens and goats, scared children walking to school, and chased old women bathing in the river, whereupon he was slayed by Beowulf of Geatland who was not amused by such antics.

  11. Jackie Paper grew old and eventually died (a dragon lives forever but not so little boys..... One grey night it happened, Jackie Paper came no more)

    so, yeah, since Jackie was his life long friend, when he'd gone, Puff became sorrowful, and the last thing we heard about him is that he sadly retreated to his cave.
