  1. 17 years ago they were everywhere. So popular that about 75% you had were fake due to the high demand. Then it all passed...I remember buying at one time about 200 slammers ranging from clear lucite with scorpions in them to gold plated ones to holographic porcelain ones and at least 1,000 Pogs all for $12...just so the owner could get rid of them.
