It was a small fest. showcasing restaurants in the Toronto area. Restaurants had booths and would offer some of their best known food, appetizers, drinks for all under 5 dollars. Soo you would just walk around and sample what you wanted from each booth. It was great, but I have searched and searched for it and haven't seen it going on in a couple of years. The Taste of Toronto Festival.. I believe it was held in early September. Any details would be amazing!

  1. I know what you mean! I think it was called 'Taste of Toronto'. The last time I went it was near the Royal Alexandra Theatre. That was the summer before last. I haven't heard anything about one since. It was good though!

  2. Are you sure you're not thinking of the Taste of the Danforth festival? This has been held for years to celebrate the multicultural diversity of Toronto. From mouth-watering Greek cuisine to Thai, Indian and Cuban fare, this street festival in the heart of Toronto's Greektown entertains huge crowds summer after summer. This year it will take place August 8th to 10th.

In recent years, other areas of the city have held their own "Taste" festivals ... the only one that comes to mind is "Taste of Turkish" ... try googling Taste of Toronto and you'll probably turn up some listings.
