Whatever happened to the actor Leon?

He was the title character in the Little Richard movie. He did the Temptations movie and the Five Heartbeats. I miss him. Where is he?

He hasn't really made a film since Buffalo Soldiers in 2003. I live outside New York City and a few months ago he was being advertised on the radio as one of those stars of the black stage plays (you know, the drama plays). He is also making music with a band called Leon and the Peoples. He is also making a movie called Cover about a black man on the down low. Some have suggested that Leon himself is g*y and on the down low.

Still doing movies. In the last couple of years he was in Get Rich or Die Tryin', and is in 2 new movies coming out in the next 2 years. A movie called Capers, and My Friend, My Hero.
