Whatever happened to the economic stimulus package that was supposed to lift our economy?

What do you mean by "what happened" to it?  Tons of people got their checks.  (Not me, I'm Canadian; but I read all about it).  

That said, I think the move was a silly one.  That money is like putting a band-aid over a hole in your rubber dingy at sea.

Do u ever listen to the News or read the newspaper. It seems to be working. Sales have been up some, not a lot. I actually spent mine on my car taxes. Came out about the same.
