Whatis meant by ebook?

ibought a china mobile,in that i found an option there i.e EBOOK READER.i want to know about that.

An e-book is a book that you access online and can read online.  If you bought a mobile and it has an e-book reader companion it's probably a user manual online.  But of course that would be my guess only.

an eBook is a file you can purchase or download. it's basically an electronic book, or a book converted to digital format. you turn the pages by scrolling. so instead of lugging around a copy of Harry Potter, you can have the file on your phone and read it much like you're reading sms. very nice little invention. but I personally prefer the feel of the book pages (plus my eyesight can't take a lot of the minute screen).
