  1. Today my one specific moment so far with my son has been cuddling some this morning when he first woke up.  He layed his sweet little head on my shoulder and said "I lub you" :)  It absolutely melts my heart!  He has this way of connecting with me through is big beautiful eyes.

And with my daughter it was waking her up this morning.  She looked at me and smiled so big!  I also love the moments I spend breast feeding her.  She will look up at me half way through her meal and smile at me and then continue eating with her eyes firmly focused on me.  It makes me feel very loved and very connected with her.

  2. Well When my 11 y/o twins were about the age of 6, They lost someone very special to them. Their Grandmother,My mother. At the funeral they both cried [One is a boy,one is a girl] and they actually went up to the stand to sing a song they wrote.

    Here it is:

    Oh Grandmother,

    She is so grand

    She wipes our tears

    and Holds our hand

They actually talked about her. I explained to them how she is still with them.

  3. We connect a lot, at bedtime, and she is always saying something to make me laugh, or sometimes when she notices that I made a mistake on something I said or did, she laughs at me and I laugh at me TOO!

  4. You're looking for one specific moment, like when your eyes lock and you have a deep inner connection to one another that you can feel - almost like it's tangible, right?

About two years ago our long-time family cat died of age.  We had a chance for one final good bye and I took our four and a half year old daughter out to see him.  We both stroked him and cried a little and I had the chance to explain to her about death and how it's okay to feel sad.  I think that was a huge true moment for us as mother and daughter.

  5. Probably the day they were both born. It's an amazing feeling to finally meet the little person who has been living inside of you (and kicking you).

  6. The day he was born, its was instant love, I felt that I had already love him since I knew I was pregnant.

  7. Generally it's first thing in the morning, and we've just woken up and we're having our "morning snuggle."

We also connect when we're laughing and playing.
