Lots of things are "icky" in French. Start with their food, their personal hygiene, their breath, and so on. Lots to discover - and I know, because it's where I live.

I presume you mean "disgusting"? Try "revoltant" (with an acute on the "e") or "degoutant" (also with an acute on the "e".)
