Question:

Whats' a good workout to tone down your legs?

i heard squats helps...any other ideas? i need to slim down my thighs and calves...school is starting soon for me...

  4. the quickest way to slim down is running.. you'll be piratically shedding the fat and developing muscles.. but if you want something that isn't as hard on the skeletal system you should walk a few miles each day every day.

  5. Squats build muscle. Stop exercising.  

  6. Any fat bodypart is the result of having too much bodyfat and underdeveloped musculature. Storage of bodyfat is a function of genetics and hormones, which is why women get fat thighs and men get fat stomachs. The only way to get rid of it is to lose bodyfat overall by expending more energy (calories) than you take in.

    Exercise helps because you increase the size of the muscle, thus giving the *appereance* of less fat thighs.

    Squats are the best, especially with weights of some sort.

  8. Lunges and squats are really good. Also you have run and ride your bike. Try searching for more detailed exercises on youtube.
