  1. A crash diet is a diet which is extreme in its nutritional deprivations, typically severely restricting calorie intake. It is meant to achieve rapid weight loss and differs from outright starvation only slightly. They are not meant to last for long periods of time, at most a few weeks.

    (from wiki)

Yes, you will lose the weight, but you will do much more harm to your body than you can possibly imagine.

If you stay at a gym 3 days a week, you might stay healthy. It really depends on what you eat. Try to consume as much of your diet from non-meat, non-dairy, non-processed sources and you will find you have to work out much less to keep healthy.

Also, looking healthy is one thing, make sure your body is healthy by making sure you got enough vitamins.

  2. A crash diet is where you don't eat properly at all, They work while you are one then because  you burn more calories than what you take in but once you loose the weight you want the weight is sure to come back on

  3. Hello please stay away from crash diets there not good for you. ill tell you what will happen you will only eat a small bit a day for weeks

and you will get the size you want. and when you stop the crash diet

you will put double the weight back on because your body thinks it only needs a small bit of food and when you eat a large meal half of that will go to fat because your body thinks it does not need it.

instead eat 3 or 4 small meals a day and drink lots of water.

    you look.

  4. no

  6. do a slow diet with fruits and salads, and keep on eating meat once a week but low fat, and go to the gym, use this way cause it's the only way that you can lose wieght even with eating and not lossing your body energy, be carfull of the crush diet, cause you're gonna be sick if you do it....

  7. i strongly do NOT recommend

    the crash diet...

    its not healthy for you

if you want to lose weight

going to the gym is perfect

but also u have to remember to keep off the junk food

    and eat healthy.

go for eating 1200-1400 calories a day

    and drink lots of water

    and you'll lose weight.. slowly.

    don't expect results right away..!

  8. A crash diet is a diet plan, where one abruptly reduces the amount of calories and therfore nutrients in their diet in an attempt to lose weight quickly.

Usually a crash diet lasts between 2 days - 2 weeks.

A crash dieter will typically eat one or two meals a day and exercise like crazy to lose the weight over a two week period for an upcoming event.

The problem with crash diet is

    a. you are recieving enough nutrients from the little calories you are eating.

    b. you are consuming not enough calories

    c. By crash dieting you are messing your metabolism up. A certain amount of calories are essential for functionality. The rate at which your body burns calories is known as your metabolism. During crash diets, your body eventually clues in to the fact that it is receiving a very low number of calories. As a result, your body actually adjusts its metabolism, so that it burns fewer calories in order to perform all of its necessary bodily functions. This means that it takes fewer calories for you to gain weight, making it more and more likely that you will put on weight at the end of your diet. Your body can maintain this decreased metabolism for a number of months, or even years, after a serious low-calorie diet.

    My advice:

Eating stirfrys, salads is a way better, tastier and healthier option.

Exercise for one hour everyday and you will lose weight and be healthy.

  9. It is considered a crash diet when you eat less than 500 calories per day.  And they don't work because it slows your metabolism down then when you go back to eating more calories, you gain the weight back.  Eat healthy (about 1200-1500 calories per day) and incorporate more vegetables and fruits than meats and breads. It helps to exercise 3 times a week and at least 10 minutes per day.

  10. A crash diet is a diet that focuses on losing weight as quickly as possible, not developing healthy eating habits.  It's called a "crash" diet because as soon as you come off of it, you put the weight back on.

They usually require to eat or not eat strange things, such as the cabbage soup diet, which consists almost entirely of (you guessed it!) cabbage soup, or the very popular Atkins diet, which demands you give up carbohydrates.

These diets might result in quick weight loss, but they are very unhealthy and usually result in gaining back all the weight you lost.  It is better to learn how to eat well-balanced diets, including even sweets and fats in moderation, in conjunction with regular exercise.

  11. dont crash diet

    thats baaaaaaaaaaad

  12. never do a crash diet ever because you will not get to eat any thing or drink anything except water

  13. A crash diet is where you suddenly stop eating or stuff yourself to look the way you want.

Crash diets are VERY bad for you, because your body isnt use to your sudden change in diet.

You have to ease into it, start by changing the foods you eat.

There is this kitchen appliance you can buy called a juicer, it gives you your full amont of fruit and vegtable servings in one or two glasess of juice.

    Check it out at www.target.com

  14. A crash diet is like when you starve yourself. I`ve never tried it so I don`t know if they work, they probably do. You can go to the gym.

  15. WHEN YOU DONT EAT ANYTHING

    THEN EAT A LOT

    AND CONTINUE THE PATTERN

YOU EAT AND EAT AND EAT

    THEN WORK IT ALL OFF

    IT WORKS

    BUT THE PROCESS

    CAN GET UGLY
