  1. I love my Anky dressage saddle. Passier makes really nice dressage bridles also. Kincade is very inexpensive; it's decent, but I wouldnt call it really nice.

  2. Kincade is most definately not a nice saddle, they are priced so well because the leather is so cheap. I personally prefer Custom Saddlery (www.mysaddle.com) their saddles are made of buffalo leather, which is really comfy and is really durable! The saddles are also really deep seated and close to the horse while Colliegiate, Circuit, and many other saddles, are flat backed and the seat is shaped more like a hunter saddle. They also fit the saddle to your horse if you buy them fitted. The staff is really nice and helpful and they really are horsepeople. I met the Chief Saddle Fitter or something (his name is Fred Taht) at Devon when I was looking for a used saddle from them he knew exactly what I was feeling with the fit of my horse with all the other saddles I have tried. The fitted saddles run a bit high (about $3,000 or more) but you can buy any of their saddles in the Signature, where they don't fit them at all (they cost $2,100) and you can have them fit the flocking of the saddle to your horse for like $90 or something like that.

For bridles Passier makes a lovely collection of bridles. I like the Gemini the most because of the crank noseband (which alot of dressage riders like) and it has a crystal studded browband. The leather that Passier is really durable and stays clean!! It's also really nice! Good luck!!

  3. Ill list some price ranges and the best saddles (in my oppinion, and in many of my friends who ride oppinions too).

    Under 1000:

    M. Toulouse Aachen (not sure if this is under 1000)

    Collegiate Mentor

    HDR Rivella

    1000-1500:

    Klimke Ovation Dressage

    1500-2000:

    ANY ANKY DRESSAGE SADDLE

    2000-3000:

    Niedersuss Symphony Dressage Saddle

    Kieffer Lusitano Dressage Saddle

    Vega Dressage Saddle by Amerigo

    3000+:

    Passier GG Dressage Saddle

    Passier Antares Dressage Saddle

    Hermes Corlandus Dressage Saddle

    Schleese

Those are the best i know of/ have ridden in in those price ranges.

If you manage to find a used model of one of the more expensive saddles, GO FOR IT.

But, DO NOT get a Kincaide. You will regret your whole life. Honestly. I made a huge mistake with thier C/C saddle.

  4. kinkade is really good

why dont you just go with them ? for bridles 2

  5. Harry Dabbs........very comfy =)

  6. I ride in a Collegiate Rider, and it's comfortable for both me and my horse, and my horse is hard to fit. It fixed my body position, and freed up my horses shoulders and gaits.

Another brand that I absolutely love is the County dressage saddle. It has big knee rolls, and a deep seat that makes sitting easier if your horse has a big trot.

Both of these saddles are more expensive than the kincade, but they are a lot nicer, more durable, and more comfortable than the kincade.

Kincades are good for their price, but if you can afford the other two, they're nice and they're durable.

I hope you find the right saddle for you and your horse. :)
