  2. I never visit there before, but I would like to visit Argentina because I know there is nice place to visit.  The best suggestion to visit place in Argentina is the Iguazu Falls.

  3. It's cool. Go to www.wikipedia.org and learn more.

  4. Hi. I am living in Argentina right now. I am in Buenos Aires. I am also 18. Speaking about buenos aires - it is a great place to visit. It is a beaufiful city, very friendly - not strict on rules, you can do mostly what you like. People are generally friendly to forgeiners, and there aren´t many people who talk english but some do, mostly in the younger generations. It would be best to learn abit of spanish if you went. The crime rate is low, the main crimes are pick pocketing, be careful with your money. It is safe enough definatly. Also most things are cheap or very cheap, so you rarely have to worry about things being too expensive to buy. What i don´t like is there is alot of pollution, especially from buses, the transport system is bad - buses, trains etc and there is a lack of coins for money change. I recommend that you should go because its good fun, they are about 7 million tourists a year going to argentina on holidays, which is alot, so it attracts alot of people because its a great place to visit. I don´t know about the north or south of argentina, but people have told me theres lots to see and its very pretty.

I hope this helps and if you go enjoy yourself.

  5. hello! i`m argentinian.there`s a lot of beautiful places.in argentina you can find sea, mountains, waterfalls, city, almost everything.you don`t need to speak english to come here.

  6. Hi!

I´m argentine! I hope you can understand my english...

There are a lot of places that you have to visit in Argentina:

    Iguazú falls:

    Glaciar Perito Moreno:

    Puerto Madryn:

    Las leñas:

Tren de las nubes (train to the clouds)

and Buenos Aires (my city) of course

  7. I spent a year there... I'll never forget it. Depending on how soon you're going, it would be helpful to learn a bit of basic Spanish. Note that Argentines speak with a different accent than most Latin American countries (ex: ll's and y's are pronounced "sh").

Buenos Aires: Anything you want to do at anytime of the day and night is possible. The bars/clubs open until daylight.

Also, have the steak with some red wine.

If you stay in a hostel, you'll probably be able to find party-mates easily. The San Telmo neighbourhood is prob your best bet for cheaper accommodation. This neighbourhood is more bohemian. Recoleta area: classier upper scale eateries and clubs.

Mendoza: beautiful mountainous scenery and if you're into wine, this is your city.

Iguazu Falls: largest waterfalls (I think) in the world hidden amidst a rustically groomed jungle.

There's lots more but the above is just some of the places I fell in love with.

I never felt that safety was an issue but also didn't have anything expensive with me. Just play it smart. Check your money when they give you change and never put all your money in the same pocket. I used to divi up the cash between my shoes, bra and pockets. Don't flash your cash or jewellery or gadgets - basic travelling cautions.

    Good luck and have fun!

  8. Well, most people expect coconut trees, monkeys, mariachis and people dancing salsa on the streets!

    But, forget about that.

Argentina, and especially Buenos Aires is so different from the "typical" Latin American country.

People are friendly, educated and beautiful. Buenos Aires is so european, incredible architecture, awesome food, many museums, parks and shops.

It's a huge country, so many things to do and see! Rain forest, deserts, lakes, mountains, rivers, glaciers, ski resorts, beaches...It's is like a whole continent in one place!!!

I was there two years ago, and I can't wait to go back!

  9. Great place. I live near the capital, Buenos Aires.

  10. its great but watch out they might steal your purse!!!!!!!!!!!!!
