Whats Better Then Alienware?

Question

I'm a visual animation student, and I am required to have an Alienware laptop. I ordered 1 and spent nearly $5000 on it, and to my amazement, here I am 13 days later and when I called to check the order status, they havent even started to make the f**king thing yet!! Whats worst is the guy told me I would probably get it around the 9th or the 10th of September, later if they find anything wrong with it after building it. So I was thinking of just saying s***w Alienware, and see if anyone knew of a company who made better laptops then Alienware. I have a $5000 budget roughly, so hit me up.

Please dont tell me to build my own since I am not computer savy as far as hardware is concerned.

Also it needs to be a LAPTOP, no Desktops.

You should try voodoo or velocity micro. They both have great customer service and are very fast and reliant. You should also consider buying the HP HDX. I love that laptop(if you can call it that). I have no yet found a problem I can't handle with my HDX.

From experience, if the school requires you to have an Alienware computer, just stick to it and get it.  So if there are any problems down the road, the school can't blame your non-Alienware laptop as the cause.

the other issue that they haven't even started building it is bad.  personally, I would get a hold of a manager in the sales department and get them to explain to you exactly why 13 days after ordering its not even started yet and find out if that is normal for it to take so long.  Also suggest to them that if it would have said on the website during the ordering and paying, that it wouldn't be built for at least 13 days, then you would have gone elsewhere.  Maybe you'll get lucky and get a little credit on the machine.

alienware, from experience, makes the best machines for gaming and I can imagine it will work great for visual animation.  I'd stick it out because after you get it, you'll be really happy with it!!!!!!!/

well thats what people think "alienware is the best" what the truth is is that alienware look the best and also cost the most so therefore they must be the best..... try any customable laptop "http://www.dell.com" you can get a laptop for the same price as an alienware laptop but twice better specs and a budget of $5000 would get u one of the bets laptops available at this time!!! get a different brand and impress every1!!
