  1. Yeah Hackney is a bit rough, but it's not all bad. It has a lot of council estate tower blocks which aren't very nice but there are some better bits.

There's an area called Victoria Park which is quite nice - as the name suggests there is a huge park there - one of the Royal Parks  (like Hyde park or Regent's Park). Which is nice if the weather is good - picnics, sunbathing, cricket, tennis, football etc. That area isn't bad. There's also the Hackney Empire theatre and as the previous answer says it's pretty close to central london for all the usual attractions.

  2. yeh its very rough but as long as your pretty streetwise then you shouldnt have any problems :)

  3. A bit dodgy, by all accounts.

  4. Not the best place to go in London

  5. I'm not keen on Hackney at all!!!

But you can always go into Central London

July means the weather should be nice but who knows in this country!

Theres Camden Town or Oxford Street for shopping

London Zoo is great no matter how old you are (I'm 20 and I went a few weeks ago! Saw Gordon Ramsey aswell)

Hyde Park's just nice to chill, especially if your with the whole family

Hope you enjoy your time here!

  6. Rough. just keep your wits about you and look like you know where your going!! check brixton out during the day its fairly safe then.
