  2. Hi,

my husband is a hotelier who works for Singapore's major hotel.

According to him, the city hotels i.e. Hyatt, Shangri-La, Ritz Carlton, Marriott the off-peaks ( or Low Periods ) for these hotels fall on:

    - Singapore Public Holidays eg. Chinese New Year, National Day, Deepavali etc... ... except for X'mas & New Year

    Peak Periods would usually be:

    - September till the 2nd week of December

    - March till June

In general, weekends are soft periods for these hotels.

However, please be aware that Singapore is hosting her first F1 this September!!!!

Please avoid Singapore hotels during F1 Sep 08', unless you are willing to pay premium!!!

  3. In Singapore, most of the hotels rates are fixed. Unless it is during special events which Singapore usually hosts. There are no specific months. It is best to check with your agent on the hotel rates and preferably a local agent in Singapore for the peak season. Most people here might not know the exact dates, only travel agents do.     Try emailing some agents in Singapore for updates.
