Whats Paignton in Devon like?

Hello,My partner has been offered a job in Paignton Devon and we was wondering what it was like down there before my partner took the job and we moved the hole family,I would be intrested from people that live there so they can tell me what the schools are like ect.thank you x

It is beautiful it has one of the most friendliest golf clubs I have ever been too the people are really friendly. The scenery is nice,  It can be a bit touristy at times though. There are two beaches a pier a promenade a really nice sea side resort really and its clean. Not sure where your living now of course but the quality of life here has got to be above average.Mind it does have its fair share of old fogeys who have decided to retire there so you can imagine it is a bit quiet in winter.

Schools are the same as elsewhere in the country GCSEs grades  A toC are higher than the National Average. The only problem I can see with the place is the police. cutbacks have ensured that their response time is supposedly awful.
