  2. Amsterdam - Beautiful, Fun, People are lovely, Everyone speaks English (Even the bums), Funny times.

Germany (Munich & Dachau) - Interesting, beautiful architecture, great beer.

Slovenia (Ljubljana) - Beautiful, Nice people, Fun, Gypsy flowers. If you go here go to Bled and Bohen for sightseeing and a swim it was lovely. The castle in Bled is magnificent - the view is better.

Croatia - The best place in my opinion. Plitvitza which is semi close to Zagreb. Just wonderful. An enchanting place in all seasons - try not to go on a rainy day. Zagreb has nice churches and some really cheap food. Great quality for a really cheap price. Then along the Croatian Coast. Split is old and nice. Dubrovnik is also beautiful. Opatija is also lovely. Trojier the ancient city is awesome. There was a big dance party when I was there. Then definately go to some of the Islands. They have 1200+ Islands. I would recommend, Brac, Hvar, Solta. These are beautiful places and there are many more but I couldn't go to all of them. Then there is Pag Island and Zrce beach which is the Ibiza of Croatia - After beach party 5-8. It is awesome. Dubrovnik, Hvar, and Opatija and probably the most expensive but they are still cheap compared to EU countries. They use Kuna in Croatia  but in most places you can pay in Euro's. It is a beautiful place. The Islands and swimming there are fantastic. Hvar is also a party island. I would go on more but i will be here all day.

Bosnia and Herzegovina - I stayed with family in Tuzla go check out the monument dedicated to the 70+ young people who were killed there during the war. It was really sad. But I loved it. Sarajevo was lovely much bigger then Tuzla and more to do I guess. Mostar was excellent. Went swimming in the river it was really cold. If you want a nice pub the Ali Baba is the one to go to. Near the Stari Most on the Muslim side. Bosnia and Herzegovina was ridiculously cheap and make sure if you go to have a cevup. The Bulkan hospitality is amazing also.

Italy - For sightseeing Vatican City, Florence, Venice. In my opinion it is definitely overrated. It is very polluted and I didn't like it at all really. Even the sights were very overrated. It wasn't just me though. Everyone bar 2 people who were with me (28) in Italy (The only tour we did) was very dissapointed. But if you are really religious I think it is worth going there I guess. But also go to Plitviza in Croatia if you are. It is like God made vs Man Made.

Best of luck on your travels. Hope this gave you some ideas.

  3. A bit off the beaten track

    Ljubljana , Slovenija

    Maastricht, Netherlands

    Munich, Germany

and this weekend ! Hasselt, Belgium (for Pukkelpop)

  4. It's cliche, but I would say Paris.  There's tons to see during the day and the nightlife is pretty good too.

However, I would have to also say Madrid or Barcelona, nothing beats the nightlife in Spain.  I am more bias toward Spain because I lived there though.

Amsterdam is also nice, but I hear they're cracking down more on the coffee shops, so I don't know if it's as much fun as it used to be.

  5. Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, and Budapest were at the top of my fun and exciting list. Loved them all.
