  1. In the deserts in australia not only can it get above 120 degrees fareignheit, but there is always high humidity as well, making it feel even hotter

  2. I'm not sure, but I find this to be an interesting question because I'm from Fresno, CA.  I don't think it competes with Pheonix, but it gets up to 115 F or so in August here some summers.  And you are right about the AC giving out when it gets that hot, you feel like you can't move it's soooo hot!

EDIT: I found this link...(Highest ever in Libya, 1922  136F!)

  3. A few people leave comments on this website, read a few.

  4. i could be really hot in los angeles. the hottest it have been is like around the mid 120'sF i guess thats as far as i remember.

  5. libya..............http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hottest_tem...

  6. Every summer here in norfolk, va it gets to about 102, to 105 as temps but we have high humidity, dew points near 80, so the heat index usually comes around 120 to 125. Those are the days i start my countdown to winter. If you mean the highest in general in the world, then it's 136 in Libya. The highest temp in america was in death valley at 134 degrees.
