Whats The best HD HDD Video Camera? Were i can adjust shutter speed and will work with most video editing programs such as adobe cs3 programs. Looking from 600-1400$ USD

  1. If you are looking for "best video quality" you won't find it in an internal hard drive based consumer camcorder - they all compress into AVCHD. All the compression = loss of data = loss of video quality. Before you select the "best" HDD HD, be sure the camcorder is compatible with the application. I don't remember if the Adobe suite does Canon - but that would be the HG10. I don't think they do Sony yet, but Sony Vegas does, finally. In any case, you want that compatibility confirmation from Adobe - not me or anyone else who posts here.

    If you really want the "best HD HDD Video Camera", that would be a miniDV taped based camcorder with a firewire port connected to a Firestore external hard drive which saves in the less compressed HDV format which will work with the Adobe apps. Then you have a choice of cameras (Canon HV20, HV30, XHA1; Sony HDR-HC7, HC9, HVR-A1U, V1U, Z1U, Panasonic HDX200) to choose from - but this is outside your budget.
