Whats Up With The Weather In Atlanta?

My grandma lives in Atlanta and she nearly got hit by the tornado that reached downtown Atlanta. Her roof collapsed while she was spending her vacation in California. Will the weather keep getting worse and worse? The weather's not a problem for me, but it's a problem with my grandma who has severe arthritis and has 2 blood cots in her brain. Should she move?

atlanta is defintly in the path of some potentially large storms. even tropical systems move throw that area. if she needs assisted living or lives by herself it would be beneficial for her to move somewhere less prone to storms.
