Im looking for a hotel around Leeson Street (near st stephens garden) in Dublin 2 that cud provide a room(s) for 3 adults, from 3rd october to 9th oct... and theyre ALL fully booked!! What the h**l!? I checked over 10 hotels on the net and theyre all booked! I found a few in North Dublin City, but theyre too far away! WHATS WRONG WITH THESE hotels? Do they just save a few rooms for internet booking and when theyve been taken they claim theyre FULL or smth? Or is there some hugge friggin festival in Dublin that everyone in the world is rushing to go and see? SCARY! Please help!

  1. Sounds like it's going to be a busy week!!!

  2. go to discoverireland.ie and see options for hotels or failteireland.ie for guesthouses and hotels.  Leeson Street and area near St. Stephens Green (not gardens) is an expensive area and also very central so it is not the best place to book.  Why not pick another area. We have dart (electric train) all along the coastline of Dublin and Luas (tram) from St. Stephens Green out to Dundrum area.  There aren't actually too many hotels in Leeson St. itself. You could try searching south city centre to see what comes up.  Good luck!

  3. dublin gets alot of tourism so its not surprising alot are booked, because dublin isnt a very hot place to go its not a place most people feel the need to go to just during the summer so it comes all year round, although summer gets busy here we do get foreigners all year round, i use to work in a hotel near st stephens green and it was always full. stephens green has a beatiful park so i suppose people want somewhere scenic. anyway what i would do is put in the booking for the hotel thats full and ask if there is a cancellation could they contact u first to have the room u want, in the meantime keep looking and if u get a call then just cancel where u booked, whats the name of the hotel u want anyways????
