    Surprisingly badly - perhaps Woods' individual need to win just doesn't translate well into a team game. He's appeared for the USA team on five occasions, but he's only been on the winning side once. At the most recent Ryder Cup, Woods was absent from the US team and they won without him, though Nick Faldo's poor captaincy of Europe surely played a role in that victory.
