Koufax (good, career second half edition)

Spahn (or Mathewson or Maddux, but I like having a third southpaw)

  5. I'd take my chances with the Koufax - Drysdale - Newcombe Dodger rotations  . . .

  6. I'd go with Cy Young, Sandy Koufax, Nolan Ryan, Tom Seaver and Roger Clemens (BoSox, pre-steroid era...).

    3. Grover Cleveland Alexander

    4. Christy Mathewson

  9. If you want the best staff. rather than for us to compose one, The 1971 Orioles and their four twenty game winners is hard to beat.  That was Dave mMcNally, Pat Dobson, Mike Cuellar and Jim Palmer.

From the National leagues. I would take the 1986 Mets, Ron Darling, Bob Ojeda, Sid Fernandez and Rick Aguilera.  Combined 76-30.  Not too shabby.
