Im a Storm fan, nothing more beautiful than a team constantly pulling of a well structured game plan.  They have youth, flare, power and brains.

Eels, long time fan, It's great my family all has different teams so we "compete". I jumped on board the cowboys for my 2nd favourite, I love Bowen and Sing before he left. And they have the best half back in the game.

The Brisbane Broncos for me..they missed Lockyer towards the end of the season with his knee injury but he has and still is working to get his knee back to 100% come kick-off

I'm looking forward to seeing him control the park with the likes of Karmichael..and the new guys like Joel Clinton, Ashton Sims, Wallace and PJ Marsh will be eager to impress so I'm looking foward to the start of the season

Before Super League I was a keen Manly supporter going back to the 1968 Grand Final (I was only 7 at the time).

OF course,until Brisbane entered the competition everyone hated Manly - then when Brisbane came along that hate was transferred. To give you an idea, I remember watching a Manly Balmain semi final in the 1980s - there were 25,000 people at the ground and I reckon 20,000 were cheering for Balmain and 5,000 were booing Manly.

When Manly used to steal all the best players from Western Suburbs the joke used to be that Wests had a unique incentive contract - if you came and played well for them you got a big fat contract with Manly.

I was glad I saw the best era of rugby league which was the 70s and 80s rather than what it has descended to today - I fear that it is on a downhill run which will see it taken over by AFL when the second Sydney team is introduced in about 5 years
