Whats Your Favorite Thing To Do In Seattle???♥

well i'm planning to move to Seattle soon and i want to know like what the people of Seattle like to do for fun there???♥

So many people, myself included, love and enjoy the great outdoors and all of the outdoor activities that are available to us here in the Pacific Northwest!  

I love to bike and we have a good number of bike trails around here, be they city or dirt/mountain trails!  The popularity of biking has also greatly increased due to the rise in fuel costs, which should hopefully expand funding for new trails and expansion of existing trails.

Skiing/snowboarding is popular and with good reason.  The closest ski option, Snoqualmie Pass, is just a short drive east on I-90!  It's only a little more than an hour and you can be hitting up the slopes!  

Camping is also a great option as we have the Cascades, the Ocean, and numerous options to head to for some great campsites!  It's best in the summer, when you might not have to deal with the rain, cold, and possible snow!  I was camping at the Ocean in April, I think, and also razor clamming.  It was snowing right on the beach as we were clamming!!!  It was all good, though and still fun, but many would rather avoid!

There is also a lot to do in Seattle that isn't just for the outdoorsy people!  There's a pretty vibrant music scene and a decent art scene here!  Seattle is a usual stop in most major nationwide tours, so we get a lot of musicians here, be they big or small.  There are a number of good theatre productions that go on here as well.

Play in the rain. It is very refreshing. Go to the Space Needle. I love the views from up there.

My favourite thing is to get in the car and leave and go someplace with better weather!

i love to get up in the morning and come out int he balcony of my apartment and just think what a wonderful day its gonna be, i see the whole big city and the space needle. i love to walk through the streets drinking coffee and shopping at the pike place market. there are also many outlets! i just love the sun and greeting every person i meet. i love looking at the high high skyscrapers glistening against the sunlight. its just such a wonderful city.

You have got to go to Pikes pier the fish market, it's an awesome spectacle. of course the Seattle tower is a must when you get there.

Spend an afternoon walking around Pike's Place Market.  I love that place.  Wander around the waterfront, there's lots to see.  Take the ferry to Bainbridge Island and drive up through the islands.  Or walk on the ferry, walk around the town at the other end and enjoy the views of Seattle.  Have lunch there, then ride the ferry back.
