Whats a affordable and safe area to live around Isle of Dogs?

I work in crossharbour and can afford about 160 a week for rent. I'd like somewhere where I can leave my smart roadster on the street without worry and not to live in fear of attacks.

Any help much appreciated.

The North of Scotland is about as close as I would want to live. Or Better still, the Shetland Isles.

It used to be very safe  and affordable until all those bankers moved upped the property prices and made life on the streets dangerous by the way they drive those flashy cars

The Isle of Dogs is one of the safest places in the borough.  Everywhere is the same nowadays, perhaps flat share and hire a garage.  Or move out to Essex.
