Whats a better buy at $12k, an 05 infiniti g35 or 02 bmw 530i. bmw has navi. how do the maint. costs compare?

the g35 ha 95k miles the 530 has 99k. and the driver side of the g35 has some minor cosmetic scratches. it looks like the previous owner brushed up against something. i am also looking at a 01 525i with 60k miles.

Infiniti would be a better buy, I am assuming it has lower mileage than BMW. BMW with lots of mileage on it cost a lot to maintain where as infiniti doesn't require that much of maintainence.

BMW has astronomical maintenance costs so I would scratch that right off the bat. I'm surprised the '05 G35 is only 12k after 3 yrs...seems a bit lower than usual. I wonder if there are some issues with the car...
