Whats a better camcorder sd card or dvd?

im getting a camcorder and i want to know which is better

(duh) im good with tech and thanx in advance if anyone anwers

You may have read something wrong...SD cards are not large enough to store any significant length of video. If you want to edit your footage on a computer, then buy a Mini-dv camcorder. Mini-dv is recorded on minature tapes, and your camcorder connects to your computer via firewire.

If you simply want to shoot the footage and view it in a DVD player, then buy a mini-DVD camcorder. These are not easy to edit on a computer, and the quality will be much lower if you do.
