  1. breaststroke, is a stroke it which you pull your hands towards yourself while doing a frog like kick and quickly propel yourself under water in a streamline position. You repeat that process to complete the stroke, it isn't a very easy stroke to master.

  2. Breaststroke is a stroke performed on the stomach with symmetric motions made by both the arms and legs. It got its weird name by the way the hands "extend forward from the breast." It's the only competitive stroke where the arms remain under water during the whole stroke cycle.

Contrary to other posts, competitive breaststroke is NOT like how a frog swims -- if you "swim like a frog" you will be disqualified. "Frog kick" is where the knees go wider from your body's centerline than your feet (like a frog). "Whip kick" is where the feet rotate out wider than the knees.

  3. breaststroke is one of the 4 main storkes in swimming. when some one does it they sorta look like a frog

  4. frog

  5. A swimming stroke that most resembles how a frog swims.

Face down and arms ahead, you pull to your chest, then return your arms to the start.
