  1. I agree w/ tennesse cowgirl but i just wanted to say that i really think its great that there are people who still like using horses to cultivate. It's always nice seeing a quiet horse instead of a huge ugly tractor or other loud farm equipment.

  2. A shire, belgium,or clydesdale are great for cultivating land for crops.I would choose a belguim though...they are great for driving, riding, and working.get  a belguim

  3. Morgan horses. One reason they were  bred was to log & farm without the bulk of the draft. They eat less, hooves are smaller, don't crush crops. I have 25 of them & I use them for ALL of that & they do it GREAT!!!!!

  4. The best suited would be draft horses.

    Large drafts:

    Clydesdale

    Shire

    Belgian

    Percheron

    American Cream

    Medium Draft:

    Suffolk Punch

    Small Draft:

    Haflinger (pony)
