Fidelity in Thailand is not that common - especially in the fleshpots of BKK, Pattaya and Phuket...but you knew that already :)

Basically it means a guy who has multiple g/fs - i.e. flitting from flower to flower to drink the nectar and other love juices!

Many Thai girls are paranoid about this - because infidelity is so widespread. It is actually quite accepted practice for a guy to have a wife, a mia noi (minor wife) and if his budget runs to it several g/fs on the side too. It sounds incredible but I ran into it a LOT in Thailand.

A guy who can't stay in one place (with one woman) very long. They go from girl to girl like a butterfly goes from flower to flower.

In Thai they may call this guy a Lai Jai (means many hearts). The Thai joke on this is, "I only have one heart, but it has many rooms. (Mee Nueng Jai, dta Jai Mee Lai Hong). Say this to a Thai girl who calls you a butterfly man and it should get a laugh.
