Whats a certificate fee and do you have to pay for it at the dmv if your getting your learners permit???

well the only fe that i know of that u need to pay .....well you have to take a writen test ...which in most states should be free!!!....but after you past the test that same day u will get your permit ...u need our ss card ....and your birth certificate and if ur under 18 u will need ....proof of enrollment of the school ur attending ...which u an get from ur counciler....if your doing ok in school..after all that info is taken and u pasted the riten test ...ull get ur permit which is like a lisence card but ...it says permit on it instead ....it will cost u 5 dollars ....and that will be the only fees u have to pay ..

You have to get a certificate from a drivers ed school in order to take the Written DMV Test.  So that is what they mean by certificate price.  It a way of getting more money out of you.  Take drivers ed here http://www.driveredtogo.com they have no certificate fee or any other hidden fees.
