  1. Good and cheap do not go hand in had. You simply cannot get a good .22 caliber pistol for $100. Maybe if you save up about $600

  2. what kind of gun do u want???? auto? Ruger...revolver? single action? heritage is ok..[cheap beginners gun].. double action? i have a taurus...low price [sort of] and good gun...if u dont know the difference between these guns go to library/book store/supermarket and get some...magazines...Guns...Guns and Ammo,,,Field and stream....outdoor life,,,,

  3. get a ruger very cool looking and a very smooth fireing semi auto thats great and not to expensive

  4. Your best bet is the ruger mk III with the bull barrel and fixed sights. My gunshop said they could order me one for around $255

anything less and you're just wasting your money

  5. no such thing...

  6. I bought a Ruger Mark 2 in 1988. I purchased the gun used, for 125 dollars(new was about 200). The gun has fired about 20 to 25 thousand rounds through it that I know of(it was 2 years old when I bought it.

It is a tapered no frills model. It still serves as a hiking gun, and plinker. It is very accurate, and I love it. There may be cheaper out there today, but I would go Ruger. If you keep it clean, you will not live long enough to out shoot it. Save for a little while longer and get a used Ruger for about 200 today.

    Good luck.

  7. Smith & Wesson has an excellent .22 semi-auto pistol that is designed for target shooting. I've had it since I was 16,... though I don't know if they're still in production.

I used to hunt with it, but now I just keep it under my car seat for "emergencies".

  8. Your gonna need more. At least double for somthing basic that is new. Maybe evven triple if you wan't quality. You might be able to get one for that price at a pawn shop but offer $75 then say $100 if they don't agree and if they say no be an a*****e and walk. Show the cash to them so they might change their mind as your walkng away. They buy ak's usually for like 30-50 just imagine what they buy those pistols for.

I recently got a mkii privatley for $225. A mkiii will cost about 250-380 depending.

  9. You should be able to find a Ruger new model Single Six used for less than $200.  A Mark II will be a little more.    Ther is not much worth spending the money on that can be found for $100.

  10. well sir/mam a 22 is a good choice i am 18 and i have loved guns since the age of 10 my first gun was a 410 then my 22 it was a savage bolt action 22 from wal mart you can get one for around 120 dollars they are extremely accurate and dependable but BOLT ACTION which is ok unless you plan on going to the military with it lol well there you have it a savage mark 2 or 3 bolt action 22 at walmart brand new for around 100-and no more than 150 dollars

  11. If you want a semi-auto, the Browning Buckmark is the way to go.  Affordable, reliable, accurate, and customizeable.

If you're looking for a revolver, there are a couple of choices.

In single action, the Ruger Single Six is impossible to beat.  It comes with a spare cylinder that allows you to shoot .22 Magnum, which will come in handy for your hunting aspiraitons.

For double action fun, you just can't beat a Taurus for the price.

  12. save a little more

and look at a p225 walther

  13. You need to save a right smart more money and get yourself a Ruger Single-Six with a 5.5" barrel.  That would be the ideal companion to your lever-action .22.

You should learn one thing about gun trading at an early age.  Unless you stumble onto a really good deal on a used firearm, good and cheap do not belong in the same sentence when you are talking about guns.  There are good guns, and there are cheap guns, they are very rarely the same guns.

  14. Well where I live you cant own a handgun till you are 21 legally. i guess its up to your parents if they let you carry one to hunt with. Smith and wesson makes one for around 200 that is accurate and relaible. 22a1. Ruger makes very good 22 revolvers and pistols but all are more than 100 bucks. They are affordable at 250 any day. Save a little longer.

  15. You're gonna need a little more

The cheapest good 22 I know of is the Heritage Rough Rider and that goes for about $150 for the basic model

  16. About 250 or so could get you a Smith and Wesson .22, I just purchased a Sig Sauer Mosquito for about 300. Nothing for less than that though unless you find one in good condition that is used.
