  9. Hello; have you considered a I’d recommend a Crested Gecko, a Viper Gecko, a Gargoyle Gecko, or an African Fat-tailed Gecko?

All are nocturnal so they don't need UV lighting, low maintenance, docile, hardy, interesting looking, can easily fit in a 30 gallon for their entire lives, and the African Fat-tails and the Vipers in particular do quite well with handling. :)

Here are care sheets for all of the Gecko species I just named:

I hope this helps, and if you have any further questions at all on the subject or would like more suggestions on a good lizard species; please feel free to message me and I will be more than happy to assist you. :)

Good luck on your lizard search!

EDIT: just letting you know as another answerer suggested a Blue Tongued Skink; as someone who has owned them, they need rather large tanks and wouldn't fit for very long in a 30 gallon. While they are excellent pets, very handleable, and are one of my favorite lizards to keep; they need at least a 40-60 gallon tank as adults. For further reading; here is a care sheet on them as well. :)

  10. I'd get a rankin. the smaller version of a beardie.

  11. I would have to say ruling out frogs snakes turtles bearded dragons and invertebrate as well as geckos, a Cuban Knight Anole maybe?  Really your the only one who knows because it is difficult to find a lizard that will not outgrow a 30 gallon tank with all the stipulations.  Here is a site to help you decide.
