  1. Lettuce will wilt, but shredded cabbage would hold up better.  Use a salad dressing (or hummus), or spicy mustard, instead of any mayonnaise ....  Shredded carrots will stay crisp ...  cheese is good at room temp ...  salami is the safest meat, if it will be out for awhile;  but turkey probably tastes the best:)

  2. I would go with peanut butter and banana..Or cucumber and tomato with sprouts and shredded carrot and raisins

  3. Smoked Baby Back Ribs smothered in BBQ sauce wrapped in Lettuce, between two panini buns.

    just kidding...

I've been a vegetarian for more than ten years of my life, and I've learned a thing or two about tomatoes, though great in sandwiches, they go bad in the sun, what you can do is...

Make whatever sandwich/wrap that suits you without adding salt or tomatoes (carry your tomatoes whole, slice when ready and serve.)

Pickles are nice, in fact they are even better after being in the sun for a while.

Here are quite a few quick and easy recipes, just follow the link below.

    Enjoy.

  4. Pack it in a cooler. Add some tomatoes, lettuce, red onions, avacados, alfafa sprouts, bell pepper strips, and marinated artichoke hearts. Make up a dressing of mayo (plian od yellow) and mayo. Drizzle that all over the wrap and then fold it up, pack it up and enjoy.

Also use flavoered wraps if ya got them. So much better.

  5. Well, use your favorite wrap as long as it does not include mayo.  I would make a wrap with provolone, slice onions, bell peppers, fresh basil, lettuce, tomato and a drizzle of Italian dressing.

My next choice would be what the first person to answer you suggested!

  6. My Fave is cream cheese, sliced mago, roasted red peppers and cilantro.

You could also do a mixed veggie wrap with broccoli, cauliflower, green onion, shredded carrots, cheese (I likecheddar) and sunflower seeds. I usually dip it in ranch dressing, but you may want to go with Italian or a vinaigrette because of the sun.

    Or, hummus with taboulleh
