  1. Polyester blends


  2. Rip stop nylon.  Very light. Dull finish.

  3. Get some fray check and you can use any fabric.  It doesn't make the fabric stiff.  Just put it down after you cut fabric on edges.  Good luck!

  4. fleece or felt.  You can buy felt from the bolt at most fabric stores.

  5. A light weight gabardine.  Or a poly/ cotton blend.  Unless it's mostly polyester, you can expect some fraying.
