  1. I would do around $3 or $4 per extra hour.  In reality you are only charging about $1.89 per hour, so time and half would be around $2.84.  I would do $3 per hour, because the $2.84 looks kind of weird.  Just my opinion.

Where I live overtime is around $4-$5 an hour.  But daycare on average around here is about $120-$150 a week, so you are giving a good deal!

  2. When I did daycare, I figured the parents were most likely getting time & a 1/2 for OT, so that is what I did~ you charge $85 for 45 hours a week~ that's roughly $2.00 an hour~ I would probably charge $3-$4 an hour.

Some people can't afford to pay $10 an hour~ most people don't even make that much~ I charged $20/day for 1 child or around $30 a day for 2.

  3. I agree with all the other posting time and a half.  I have to say you are an amazing person to charge $85 a week. Most places around here want either $250  a week or if its by the hour $10 an hour per kid.

  4. parenst who leave their kids in daycare are usually very wealthy.  so you can milk it for all it's worth.  i would sugesst 10 bucks per hour of over time. rounded up to the last hour.  so let's the kid is dropped off at 9 at 11:05. then that would be 30 bucks
