  1. I charge $19.00 for a standard DG shaft unless the old shaft is broken at or near the hosel. Then it depends because it could be very time consuming to remove the rest of the old shaft from the club. $30.00 max for a tough one.

  2. If you go to Golfsmith, you will probably pay $19.99 for the reshafting and nothing to install the new grip. Although they are supposed to charge $3.49 for regripping a club, they usually do it for free for me. Also, if you're doing a full set, they might give you a discount for volume.

If you get a local clubmaker to do it, chances are the prices can be negotiable. If you were a friend of mine, I'd reshaft 1 club for free. If you wanted me to do a full set of irons, I'd probably do it for $50 or $60 bucks.

By the way, don't forget that you need new ferrules, too! Pick some cool ones to give your irons a great look!

  3. Since it costs about $ 8 to regrip a club, replacing a shaft is a bit more expensive. With a new shaft and new grip, $35. seems to be a fair price.

  4. i pay 5 dollars for single steel shaft replacement , 7.00 for graphite driver . golfsmith trained . clubmaker . thank you

  5. A single iron $15 plus the cost of the shaft.
