There are many free or low cost resources for home schooling in Indiana.  Some public libraries have the text books used in the public school systems in their area.  I used to copy lessons out of the books.  Not free, but much cheaper than buying the books.  Also if you google home schooling you will get a wealth of information, from worksheets to lesson plans.  You will need to do the research, but if you are willing to look for things and sometimes think a little outside the box you will not have to spend a fourtune on home schooling.
