Whats a fun thing to collect?

i want to start a collection with something inexpensive and easy to find

Keychains, souvenior mini mugs and mini playing card sets are pretty easy to find and they don't cost much depending on where you find them.

Yep , think of something you enjoy looking at or means something to you .

I love pineapples ( not the real ones )  ,but  crystal , brass , on my welcome mat ,  etc .  They represent hospitality , so it sort of sends a message to my guests when they come that they are WELCOME in my home :)

As a side note - if you are looking for different or original things to add to your collection check eBay . I have found many different types of pineapples to add to mine . I place them around my house in groupings rather than all in the same place .

Something fun that you enjoy looking for and fiddling with.  I collect fabric and sewing machines.  Sometimes I use one to play with the other...

OK - may be random, but I like to get the different little duckies.  They have one for every holiday and occasion.  You can get them from some of the bulk party supply places

collect certain animal stuffed animals. they're everywhere and there's many different kinds.

Pick something you would enjoy, and something which will increase value over time. That way, if you get bored, you can sell it with profit! There are often collectors get-togethers in larger cities, you could probably pick up some good ideas there!

Something I wish I would stick to more often is found in the Bible though:

try beer caps from things like smirnoff or colorful caps and if you want you can press them so they stick to your bedroom ceiling and make a picture with them

If you have a favorite movie or comic strip, you can collect products made from it!

money  2 dollar bills, silver dollars, 50 cent pieces..gold dollars .. state quarters.... and they have real value...also then you will want to get some older money Morgan dollars silver coins etc..

um, look for something that is special to you, like for me it's plush dogs.

Some great, unexpensive things to collect that are easy to find are:

-Cool Looking Rocks (and I'm not talking driveway gravel)

-Pez Dispensers

-Seashells, if you live near the beach

-Postcards, you can find them at a lot of places, and they usually range from .50 to $3.00, depending on the location.
