Ive done cross country for a year and im going back to it after a year of football since im not the best and im going to a new school. Ive got 20 full days starting tomorrow before school starts and I still run pretty well (best mile time = 5:45) and can run about 2 miles before stopping to catch my breath, but not at a 5:45 pace. I want to blow everyone away so I can impress my fellow runners and make some fast friends. Is there anything I can do to train before the sport starts?
