Whats a good Laptop for these specs?

OK, I just bought this Compaq laptop, but it just does not have what I need, So I will be returning it. This is what I want in a LAPTOP:

Hard drive: 200g+

Processor: Intel Dual 3.0ghz

Memory: 3G+

Graphics card: Atleast Geforce 8 series, or better.

I have about 1,000$ to spend, maybe 1,200$

What Laptop should I get, and where?

PS I want one to play Call of duty 4.

Dude, there are no 3GHz core 2 duos for laptops.

The fastest processor intel has for a laptop is 2.8GHz.  That -could- be overclocked to 3GHz however.

If your willing to wait, i think they're coming out with a 3.06GHz dual core processor for the laptop soon.  And a 2.53GHz quad core processor.

Second, you will NOT be able to buy a computer with the 2.8GHz processor for $1,200.

In fact, you'd spend all your money to buy just the 2.8GHz processor by itself without a computer for that price.

If your price limit is $1,200, the best laptop you can hope for, after using online coupon codes would be about this:

2.5GHz core 2 duo (6MB cache, 800FSB), 4GB RAM (bought separately online) and a GeForce 8600M GT, with the rest of the stock options.

Frankly speaking, you won't be able to get a laptop with those specs at your current budget.
