Whats a good age gap?

Question

I want to have another child but what is a good age gap between children.Alot of people I know have a child turn one and then a month or two later they give birth to there second child.Now I want my kids to be close in age just maybe not that close.Any good age gaps that aren't too far apart?

3 years,def not 5 .me & my sis r five yrs apart and it sucks!!

In my opinion, 3 years. A lot of people prefer to have their children closer together, but the way I see it I want my daughter to have my full attention for all the little things that a toddler goes through. Walking, talking, preschool/day care, etc.  Once I've seen her accomplish things like that, I'll be totally ready for round two =)

ill say 3 years cause im 20 and my sister is 36 and yea she act like my mom..

i think it all depends on your family. there is no magic number.

i have 11 years before my first 2. and 16 months between him and my 3rd. they all work great,.my oldest is a big help and the two little ones get along great.

i think you will find any age gap is great. they all have thier benefits.
