  1. It depends on you really-- if you want something to play with, cuddle with, have relatively low maintenance, get a dog.  They are great, you feed em, brush em, bathe em, walk em, play with em, let em out...pretty easy-- they are eternally loyal, lovable, and fun to be around.  With a cat, you have to change the litter box, get hair up from everywhere...they're finicky, some days they want to love and others they are climbing the curtains...A fish does nothing but blow bubbles in the tank...a bird eats and poops and throws seeds all over the place... monkeys require a lot of up keep and need lots of environmental stamina...unless you have a room in your house to devote to it and its "environment" i wouldn't suggest getting one...Frogs, turtles, lizzards pretty much just stay in their tanks...Hamsters p**p and pee and run around the cage, sleep during the day and run in their wheels all night...Rabbits hop around their cage or if you litter box train them, around your house (but i have never seen one "talk" on a leash...HAHA

My vote, a dog.  I have 2 miniature schnauzers and they are the best things that ever happened to me....

  2. Hampster

    rat

    cat

    dog

    duck

    guinea

    fish

    hermit crabs

    chicken

    rabbits

my choice would be a rabbit.

small, and friendly, cute! you can feed them fruits and veggies, and train them to talk on a leash!

  3. I would say a cat beacause they are very cuddly and affectionate.

Or a rabbit. Because they are gentle and friendly and can be entered in show's and they are made for breeding.

  4. i totally say that dogs are the cutest pets and the are very loyal

    totally say a dog

  5. well, I'd have to say that the "best" pet to have, varies from owner to owner.

What exactly are you looking for in a pet? How much time and energy can you put into taking care of it, and how big/small should it be..?

  6. can't go wrong with a dog. fun to have. they are mans best friends. or get a monkey. fun to have. they are mans best friends.

  7. A stuffed or electronic one, or a rock.  No one responsible enough to keep any live animal would just ask random people who know nothing about them or what kind of care they could provide what kind of life to commit lots of time and money to for however long that animal lives.

  8. I would first find out how much room you have for the animal and then do some research on the kind of animal that would better suit that space. I personally have over 20 pets which include parakeets, hamsters, fish, a cat and a mali uromastyx lizard. I love them all and anyone of these animals would be a great addition to your family, but research on the animal is VERY important.

  9. hands down..a cat. they are great! they clean their self, u only have to show them  a few times where to do their business, u show them once where to find the food and drink. and ontop of that they will love u when u need it and leave u b just long enough for  u to realize  they r not around.easy upkeep. feed twice daily then empty litter twice week. cheap. u could do a good deed and get one from a shelter who will have already been vaccinated and spayed or nutured. or u mentioned exotic.. they have very exotic breeds of cat. look it up they r pretty cool. himalays r very personable and no the black ones r not bad luck. although i do own a black cat whose name just so happens to be "Bad Luck". (BL for short) anywho hope this helps u  later and remember to recycle.
